Volume XXI - Number 26

Go Ye Into All the World
Bill Norton

The words of Jesus "go ye into all the world" does not mean that we have to become a vagabond or a wayfaring man, or to give up our homes and travel over the world. But Jesus would direct us to move through this world that we live in at this moment, remembering that this is His "commandment" "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:19, 20). This does not require me to be a great scholar, but rather to love Jesus and let those around me know about the love I have for Him and the love He has for me. We can build "personal evangelism" in our lives so that we can touch the lives of those who want to know about God and Jesus. Just allow those around you to know what your first love truly is. "Jesus is all the world to me, my life, my joy, my all; He is my strength from day to day - without Him I would fall." It is really rather simple: With your friend, relative, or neighbor invite them to:

  • have God in their lives,
  • allow Jesus to become their Savior,
  • experience the simplicity or our worship,
  • enjoy the fellowship and friendship of our congregation

Join us in our personal work sessions, and let us "Go into All the World, (our world), and Preach (teach) the Gospel to Every Creature.
