Will You?
Bob Bauer

W e all hope to make our upcoming Gospel Meeting – starting September 29th – a success. Success can be measured in various ways. It will be a successful meeting if everyone of our own members attend every service. It will be a successful meeting if all who attend are enriched through the lessons being presented. It will be a successful meeting if we have many visitors from the community.

The elders have secured the services of a highly qualified gospel preacher. They have done their part. Jimmy Clark will bring powerful, insightful, and motivating sermons each and every lesson. He will do his part. Our deacons have been working and will have the building in tip top shape for the meeting. They will do their part. Only you are left. Will you do your part? Will you purpose in your heart to be at every service? Will you commit to mailing a personal invitation to all your friends and acquaintances. Will you then commit to follow up the invitation with a phone call or personal contact?

The meeting will be successful if each of us does our part. . . will you? ❧

Congratulations
ring_fing.jpgWe offer our sincere congratulations to Stefan and Tracy Mathis who were married yesterday over on the west coast. We wish them many happy and prosperous years together and pray that God will bless them as they set out on life’s path as one.

Baptized Into Christ
baptism2.gifOur hearts are made to rejoice with the angels in Heaven at the baptism of Charles Copeland this past Thursday afternoon (29th). May God richly bless brother Copeland as he begins his walk down the narrow pathway that leads to eternal life. Keep Charles and Frances in your daily prayers.

Youth Devo Tonight
Our teen group is scheduled to meet tonight after the evening services for their bi-weekly fellowship and devo. See Matt Faneuf for any further details.

What is Sunday to you?
The “Lord's day” is my tower of strength! It is the day of days for soul refreshment. I have asked myself, "How long would strength remain in me and God's reality remain in my heart, if it were not for the soul-renewing worship of the Lord's Day?”
