Ladies Ghana Fund Update

As of May 11th, we have approximately $4,849.00 in our Ghana Fund. It was decided at our meeting on Sunday night, May 17th, that we would give $1,200 of this to support brother Martin Oppong for another year. It was also decided to give $1,000 toward the completion of brother Edward Owusu-Ansah's home. (please take a minute to look at the pictures and letters concerning this work which are posted on the Bulletin Board in the foyer.) Along with this we are continuing to give $300.00 every quarter to brother Godfried Fianko who is a visually impaired brother who preaches. We will still have a goodly amount to go toward the drilling of another well which will provide pure water for a village. Brother Bauer promised to let us know when and how to do this.

Also, brother Bauer suggested some things he would like to take with him when he goes to Ghana in June. He is putting a list of these things on the Bulletin Board in the foyer so that we can sign our name by any item we would like to purchase individually for him to take.

The ladies at Orange Street are to be commended for giving into this fund which is over and above their regular contribution. We know that God will bless us as we give and we pray He will bless those who receive these monies and use them for the spreading of the gospel in Ghana. (Acts 20:35)
