Bible Classes
Adapted from an article by
Ken Tyler

Build strong Bible classes and the church will be strong - This is fact! "As the Bible School goes, so goes the congregation!" The congregation will never be better than it's Bible class program. We must constantly encourage every family to attend every Bible class. We must give our families the pure, unadulterated word of God in those classes so they will grow. Ira North once stated, "The congregation that goes all out for it's educational program, encouraging every member to attend, providing the proper incentive, motivation, and training for it's teachers, will be the congregation that will look forward to healthy growth." Madison went from 400 to over 3,000 in Bible classes under brother North's leadership. Our purpose here should always be to build and maintain a great Bible class program.

So much depends upon our knowledge of God's word.

1. We are saved by the word (John 8:32; 1 Peter 1:22).

2. The word causes us to grow (I Peter 2:2).

3. We are comforted by the word (Romans 15:4).

4. We are edified by the word (Acts 20:32).

5. We are lead by the word (Psalm 119:105).

6. We will be judged by the word (John 12:48; James 2:12).

It's no wonder that Peter closed his Second Epistle by saying, "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..." (II Peter 3:18). The educational program of the church offers us the wonderful opportunity for solid, permanent growth. Give it your time, your attendance, your prayers, your energy, and your support in every way you can. Brethren, let's build-up the Bible class program!

April Calendars
The April edition of the Activities Calendar and Men To Serve List is available today in the foyer. Pick-up a copy and be informed of the coming month’s events and duty schedules.

Fellowship TONIGHT!
We will meet in the annex tonight after the PM worship for snacks and fellowship in honor of the birthdays and anniversaries in the month of March. All are invited to attend.

Member’s Attendance Cards
In order to establish an accurate record of our member’s attendance, the elders are asking that one member of each family, fill out one of the orange cards (located on the back of the pew in front of you) each Sunday AM, PM and each Wednesday evening. Our visitors are asked to fill out one of the white cards. All cards should be passed to the center aisle for pick-up at the appropriate time. Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Spring Forward
Daylight Savings Time be-gins next Sunday. Be sure to set your clocks forward one hour before going to bed next Saturday evening or you may be late for services next Sunday.

New Nursery
The Cradle Roll classroom is being converted to a second nursery. A video system has already been installed so that mothers can see and hear what is going on in the worship services. If you have any questions see one of the elders.

Have you read and studied God's word today. We cannot know what God commands unless we study the bible carefully and we cannot live as Christians should if we do not know His commands. (1 Tim 2:15) Today is the day to increase your knowledge of God.
